Ladies and Gentlemen, this is - "Klown"

Ade's Yamaha FZ gets a radical rebuild!

We have run this bike for the past couple of months and its been joy to ride it.
With other projects now complete it was decided to completely rebuild and streetfight this truly rapid machine.
It started life as an FZX 750 but has the 1000 FZR engine fitted!.

How the bike stood when purchased in May 2009



The Strip down. Work begins July 2009
Strip the bike ready for paint and polishing.

The rear end in standard form.

The rear wheel after we have polished and painted it.

Now fitted with new wave brake disc.

Creating the paint theme on the front mudguard (All our own work done in house)

25th July 2009
Completely changed the front end for a Yamaha USD Gold nitrate R1 set up.
Forks, Yokes, Wheel and mudguard. We polished the fork bottoms and the top & bottom yokes.
The wheel is polished and painted and fitted with new wave discs and all stainless bolts.
New 'minimalist' stainless headlight brackets and everything bolted and finished off with 150 quids worth of spike nuts!
 

The rear end now polished. Swingarm, wheel etc. Rear calipers coated in Satin black and Brembo braided hoses.
Also note the rear can now cut down!

And just for a bit of added flavour, we are fitting one of these!

Engine cleaned, masked off and ready for paint.

THE FZR 1000 IS NOW COMPLETE.
FINAL PAINTING, POLISHING AND DETAILING COMPLETED.
